CE Mark

Those products from the E-T-A programme which are subject to the European Union EMC Directive have been CE marked since early 1996 to demonstrate compliance. Declarations of conformity contain the necessary supporting evidence.  In addition, from January 1997, models covered by the Low Voltage Directive have also been CE marked.

CE marking is the responsibility of individual manufacturers and should not be confused with formal approval logos, the use of which is administered by recognised test authorities.
